Sarah Palin: Poet Lauretate

Julian Gough celebrates a new voice in poetry, Sarah Palin:
And the relevance to me
With that issue,
As we spoke
About Africa and some
Of the countries
There that were
Kind of the people succumbing
To the dictators
And the corruption
Of some collapsed governments
On the Continent,
The relevance
Was Alaska’s.

  7. Brilliant but Allen Barra, Allen St John, and David Reiff used to do this every week in the Village Voice with Dick Young's sports column and Phil Rizzutto's call of Yankee games.
