Another Morning Of Ice On The Ceiling

This is my first glimpse light this "morning." Ice on the greenhouse glass roof. Lovely if only I could stay inside all day. Wait, maybe I can. Smokes, Check. Coffee, check. So far so good.

  1. Guess I'd better refrain from complaining when the temperatures here drop low enough to require wearing a sweater.

The snow and ice photos are lovely. Christmas card images.

  5. Hell, stay inside. If I had any influence in the matter I would stay inside watching Animal Planet or drive down to the coast.

  8. Zee, how I would love to have the Chianti Classico on my list of provisions, but the damn bipolar drugs don't go well with the vino.

Morning, everyone, you east coast early birds. It's quarter to ten here and I'm having my first sips of Medaglia D'Oro espresso with hot milk and sugar, and I will soon be smoking the first cigarette of the day. Even I can tell it smells like stale cigarette smoke in here, but once I actually smoke, I don't notice it too much. Sometimes I even disgust myself. But it does keep certain people from hanging out with me. I will now go take my big handful of pills, and then I'll feed Cyrus.

  9. Blue Gal, glad you're feeling up to a visit, and yes, I did steal that from you but isn't it nice I said thanks once it was safely home. Get well quick.

We have another couple of storms on the way. I absolutely have to shovel snow today, to make way for the next round.

I'll take my camera outside today and photograph the ice hanging off the house.

  11. Yellowdog granny you have made me envious. I once had cashmere socks and yes they do make the toes very happy.

  12. Sometimes the best thing to do is to stay inside of four warm walls. Eventually all that nasty stuff will melt and if your provisions hold out you'll be OK if you don't get cabin fever.

  13. Cabin fever is what keeps me warm. I never want to venture out. This tendancy to isolate has lost me quite a few friends, but I say, "If you like going out so much, come visit me."
