Glade, This One's For You
In taking Randal's challenge to chronicle my tastes in Rock Music, which was not ever really my taste in music, and to wish well a secret friend of mine, I give you Queen--who my rocker friend says is the most talented group of musicians in all of Rock History. Well, Glade, I have to admit, the guy can sing, and the rest of the band's not bad either. But I still love Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, and BB King better than I do the virtuoso white boys. Remember the saying, America, once you go black, you never go back.

Well....yes. So what's your point?
No one noticed that I have a "secret friend" A male secret friend? And so far, I'm not writing a murder story about the lad. He's used a bit of my poetry to use as lyrics for some music he's recording. He want's a print of my self portrait, which I use as my avatar. When he finishes recording, we will exchange gifts, through the mail, because being in the same space with him is just too damn much for me to take--I get, well, uh, turned on, and it's hard on the heart.
Maybe that's what threw us off, the lack o' murder? If you want lack of turned on, try marriage. Thank you thank you, enjoy the veal and be sure to tip your waitress.

I love me some BB, Muddy and Howlin Wolf as well.
But I don't discount the youngun's..some of them are awesome as well. Jonny Lang and Joe Bonamassa come to mind.
