Wonderfully peaceful interlude.

Wishing you a lustrous, even lusty, T-G Day, UT. cornbread stuffing lust?

Utah Savage said...

Yes, DK, cornbread stuffing lust, which is why I'm making my own to go with the turkey my sweet neighbor is promising later in the day.

Happy Turkey day, I have taken refuge from the assorted in-laws sprawled on the living room floor, Darth Spoilboy friends playing guitars, and Wiggles watching cartoons upstairs with me.

Turkey stupor taking effect, fighting to stay awake......

forget the chestnuts roasting on the open fire... we had our feast, and then settled together in front of the laptop, to fill out federal financial loan forms.
Ugh!
Soon I found myself wanting to throw either the computer or the pie at the computer.
got the whole damned thing filled out... digging through the tax papers to jump through their hoops, only to have the PIN number rejected... the electronic signature stalled.
I think all of it is saved, & we have to talk to a human to get it done... but I can see why this is not a holiday tradition, not relaxing... but at least I had company of the kiddo who needs the form filled out. He's in a financial hell & needs college $. May even have to resort to something drastic, like moving back home.
But hey free rent & food & internet & stuff is a big deal.
Oh yea, happy thanksgiving m'dear.
I hope you enjoyed luscious food & thanks for the Vivaldi. I was lamenting today about how the rains in Western Oregon had knocked off all the pretty fall leaves....
