Snowy Morning

This was what I awoke to November 5th, the day after the election. The solarium or greenhouse is open to the bathroom and technically the room is passive solar with a small electric heater built into the wall in the greenhouse. On a dark snowy morning, with the tile floor, and the south wall and ceiling of glass it's a bit of a shock. Early on a snowy morning it might be in the mid to high fifty degrees. But on a sunny morning it's lovely.

That really is a beautiful shot, but I'm shivering for you.

I'm of the opinion that anyone who loves snow is either a lunatic or has never lived where it snows on a regular basis. One has to shovel show, dears. It's back breaking work, and slippery for the old folks to fall and break they hips.

Have you ever seen the story about someone who moves to snow country. The first time it snows they are all thrilled and saying how beautiful it is. After 30 days of snowing they are ready to kill, especially the snowplow driver that keeps plugging up the driveway!

Snow doesn't usually bother me. I spent most of my life where they average 300-400 inches of snow a year. If you know how to deal with snow and are able to do so, most of the time it isn't a big deal.
