It was Eartha Kitt as Cat Woman and Nichelle Nichols as Uhura that fueled a lot of fantasies for me as a kid. Eartha Kitt's voice, no matter where I heard it was a pleasure to hear.
i would love to have been at that white house tea when she protested the war...she was not only a great singer, but she was a hell of a woman...why hasn't anyone done a movie on HER life...????
I am a self-published writer of short stories, poetry, and politics. I'm a rescuer of dogs and stray cats. I believe everything is political—especially sex and religion.

she was AMAZING. a totally unique, one-of-a-kind-never-to-be-repeated type of woman.
She was the kind of woman we really love and will really miss.
Her political insights and anti-consumerist reflections will certainly be missed.
She was amazing, she was.
