Naj writes a blog called Neo Resistance. She has asked for help from those of us willing to hear the cries of distress coming out of Gaza, so please follow
this link and visit her here. She is far more knowledgeable about this horrible situation than I. I focus rather too narrowly on the politics that is my American life. I have Palestinian friends but rarely see them now, do to their family, social, work, and school commitments. But I love them no matter how seldom I see them.

THANK YOU MY BEST ...
You are great!
I know a fair bit about the Middle East; I also know a fair bit about the agony of Israelis being surrounded by "hostile" arabs. I am Persian and I have experienced growing up during 8 years of Arab hostility against Iran. But THIS MASSACRE goes beyond the politics of the middle east ... this is utterly utterly utterly unjust ... the onslaught of people who have no sin but trying to break out of starvation to death is a shame to human society, irrespective of our political or religious knowledge or affiliation.
Thanks for the post.
Love
Naj

Everyone knows the problems in the Middle East are Moshe Dayan's, no, Jimmy Carter's, no, Yasser Arafat's, no, Bill Clinton's, no, Yitzak Rabin's, no, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's, no, Barack Obama's fault.
Nice job, Randal. That about sums it up.
Randal should have mentioned the Brits too. They certainly did enough to be awarded a little air time about this shameful situation.
