Hi Utah-

Great trailer - thanks for posting it. I don't get to the movie theater often - we usually click the "On Demand"...... I like how close the bathroom is to where I am sitting! :-)

Have a great day-
Love Gail
peace.....

I think the last two flicks I actually saw in the theatre were the X-Files movie and Land of the Dead.

Although movies at home are very convenient, I love the big screen. The large open space of a theater. In fact I worked for Regal Cinema for almost five years as a manager, (before I opened my used book store).
That was a hectic job, but at the same time great, because we got to see all the movies we wanted to for free.
We don't get out to the movies as much as we'd like now, as my husband is working seven days a week. Sundays are his half day. It's his own business, and he had to let his employee go the first of the year.
The Reader is one we want to see, but haven't yet. It looks good.
Thanks for the reminder. If we don't see it soon it will be gone, and we'll have to do the home thing instead.
Which is ok too.

For a movie like this I usually wait until its out on DVD. I do enjoy going to a theater but depending on how many people are in the auditorium, the condition of the seats, and the price sometimes makes its a pain.
Plus I usually pull the duty taking my daughter to her kid movies and if I don't go right out to see a grown up movie that interests me I once again just wait for it on DVD.

I really really like both actors in this movie and would love to see it. Unfortunatly it didn't come to my wee town.
My sister in law go to the movies every Tuesday evening... have since 2000. Love it!

I can only go to the earliest matinee. I hate other viewers and like the bargains given for the first showings. Otherwise I'd never see a first run movie. Nick accommodates my need for an absence of other people.

There were decades I never saw a movie in a theatre. That's how little I like my fellow humans. I have stories of near fights over babies crying in R rated films, people taking through love scenes, and teens behaving badly because, well, they're teens.

Yes, but what did you think about the movie!!?? ;-)

Tomorrow. I can't keep my eyes open. I'm sickish.

i haven't actually been to see a movie in the theater in months (or perhaps even more). THIS is probably the one that will send me back (plus, i just discovered a theater near me that has $2.00 matinee's every single day. talk going back in time!! and what a find!!)

i can't wait to read your review.

I'm weird. I get a kick out of teens behaving badly in movie theaters.
I was especially thankful for a row full of them in front of me during Benjamin Buttons. It was the only thing that ke[pt me awake! Well... until the usher kicked them out. Then it was zzzzz...

Utah,

Sorry for saying nothing about this post but you once made a comment on my blog re bi-polar...........if you want to, just click PaulC and just glance at the most recent post "found" and I swear to my Jewish God (if He exists) that what is in "found" is not the product of a delusional mind.........my bi-polar and/or schizo-affective IS severe but EPISODIC.

BTW Great to see Anita is back.

Yes, It is great to see that Anita is back. It always makes me happy to know that she is one of the wise and witty survivors among us.

You make me laugh.
My husband won't go to movies unless he think the crowed will be thin, as he feels the same way you do. And has had words with the talkers.
Tells them to go rent the movie and watch it at home, where they can talk all they want and not disturb everyone else.
He gets really upset at the rude people who won't be quite when you ask nice, which brings out the bear in him, then they call him rude, so we quit going with so many people around.
