Well that is the dumbest ass statement I've read in a while. The simple answer to the implied question is, THE...MALE...EGO. No macho man (I AM NOT including myself here) would ever admit that a woman is as funny, if not funnier than he. Ever. He would consider that a threat to his maleness.
I don't.
I happen to be attracted to funny women and I consider myself a humorous guy. I can't imagine being in a relationship with a nitwitted female who simply listened and never bantered humorously with me. And, most importantly I find women as whole, a hellofa lot more sophisticated in their humor.
I happen to know that I'm funnier than Christopher Hitchens. Ridiculous little man.
