If there were to be only one leftist sanctuary remaining in this too reactionary a world, let it be here.
While Thune may have technically been lying, Franken was slinging a fair amount of bull-crap, too. Yes, there will be some spending immediately. But 10 billion out of a trillion dollar proposal is only 1%. Not exactly a lot, in other words.
