Oh never mind that his trip around the world spreading misinformation and lies is being paid for by us, the impoverished taxpayers. It’s the photo opps, stupid. John is looking Presnitential. Isn’t that all we need in a Presnit? The fake war hero status, the ignorance on the economy, the total lack of knowledge of the Middle East, the nasty temper, the decrepitude, the fact that he just might keel-over at any moment, dead of old age, that makes him so exciting? How badly can we ruin this country before the slumbering populous wakes from the dream that it’s all just peachy?

Forget politics, Utah. Happy Easter. I'm buzzing about with household chores. Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging... =(
Life? What's that? All is politics after all. Not a single act is free of politics even your chores. Is the division of labor........ Oh, sorry, for an old atheist, Easter is merely an early spring day. And the life politic goes on. And yes, I too had garden chores today. For an old woman all the chores are mine, so I cannot bitch about the unequal distribution of the work of daily life. Either I do it or it doesn't get done.
K & J, I hear you're back from the land of smart, witty, talented creative types. Bring us up to date on your excellent adventure. And let us know what you think of the racial dustup with the Right Reverend Wright. We'll give you a little time to catch up on your reading. But don't think you're off the hook. And no matter how much I love you I will not back off on my support for Barack, so get ready.
R U really a smoker?
Petro, what an interesting question. Yes, I am. My mother taught me to smoke when I was five. She taught me how to mix an excellent cocktail as well. And so I learned to be a little adult, bar-tending for the cocktail parties and amazing the adults with my skill at six--I could French inhale. I have smoked ever since. I think my mother, whose decision it was to put down roots in Utah, wanted to make sure we were not mistaken for Mormons.
Chill out, U. Savage. Bill Clinton tells us McCain loves our country. Until our dying days. Rest assured.
Nonpartisan, so good to see you back. And I will not, will not chill out.
While I agree that McBush is light on the economy and on Middle-East politics he is not a "fake war hero". He is a true war hero and I salute his service and his sacrifice to our country. While that alone does not qualify him to be president it certainly shows a strength of character and a dedication to his country. Do I want him to be president? No! Do I think he is qualified to be president? No, but he is more qualified than the idiot who sits in the Oval Office today. Obama '08 :-)
I can't get a handle on it: how can an ex-POW support waterboarding? It's wrong on so many levels besides the obvious issue of torture.
Petrosexual, you're rather intriguing.
