Hoping for a Knockout

Well it's your turn Indiana and North Carolina. For god's sake vote smart. Don't fall for the easy, cheap pander on the 18 cant a gallon gas tax B. S. because everyone, everyone knows it won't get through congress and if it did, by some dead brain virus, make it's way to Bush's desk, he'd veto it, and it might be the only smart veto he ever did. Not a single economist thinks it's a smart thing to do. it's purely political, and places, once again, Mccain and Clinton on the same wrong side of a stupid issue. Please vote smart. Please look past this summer, and into the future. If you want change, vote for Obama. If you want the same old shit vote Clinton.

Early exit polls and local blogger comments indicate an Obama landslide in North Carolina.

And some late national polls indicate a tight race in Indiana, with a "possibility" of Obama squeeking out a tiny, tiny, tiny victory. Even if Obama loses by only a couple of percentage points, it will be a "victory" for him.

Utah.... as I've been saying.... you have nothing to worry about. Obama will be the Democrat Nominee!!

good point Utah. the gas tax thing is really silly.

i do have a difficult time believing that if Obama or Clinton win, suddenly the preponderance of their opposition's vote go to McCain or stay home.....

just have a hard time buying that.

At this point in the night Obama wins North Carolina, and Indiana will probably go to Clinton, but by how much? God I'm sick of the nail biting quality of this primary.

Can the Wizard call 'em or what?

Look at that time stamp on my post this afternoon! 1:56 pm!!!!

Obama has this won and can now turn his sights onto John McCain.

Yes, Wizard, you can call them. Thank god!

She's vowing to carry on. Enough already!!! I say, get out of the way, bitch. Or, uh, rather, "step aside Mrs. Clinton."

Be gentle, Anita. You're going to love us Clintonistas, when we come over....

Did I hear that HRC is cancelling her morning appointments?

Now we'll see if the Dem machine goes full out on The Maverick®. There's a reason he's tied or leading in most polls and it isn't because he bakes a mean banana nut bread.

Randal your comments are so good. I rarely laugh out loud early in the morning. But you just accomplished that small miracle.

I heard Clinton speaking live from West Virginia this morning, and based on what she was saying, she apparently does not intend to quit.

I am completely, utterly, irrevocably sick of seeing Clinton on TV. I disagree with her because she voted for the war, sat on the Board of Directors for Wal*Mart, and I have too many memories of her kissing up to the Prevaricator In Chief, et al. over the last eight years.

Although I completely understand K's point about her being more political, and perhaps more electable, than Obama, I just can't bring myself to vote for a DINO. Her politics have been far too conservative for my taste.

I don't come from a sexist viewpoint. If Barbara Boxer were running, I'd probably camp outside her field office begging to help her campaign. K, if you want to see a stunningly wonderful record, I invite you to view her Congressional voting record. In fact, each of you can review the voting records for your own House Reps and Senators on this site.

Another individual in the White House (maybe the Gray House?) who acts anything like... THEM is unacceptable. I'm praying every day that McBush doesn't win, especially given the new rumor that Rice may be selected for VP candidate.

Fortunately, it's looking good that she may bow out soon: the super delegates aren't supporting her.

I'm with Utah: why aren't we out in the streets protesting? Sorry I haven't been around lately, Utah. It's not you: I'm on the computer all day and am bleary by the time I get home.

Someone should tell Hillary to shit or get off the pot. I am so tired of seeing that ol' bag begging for money and votes. If only someone would ask her about her hubby's pardon of Marc Rich? Or ask her where the blue dress is? That outta push her oper the edge into the dustbin of history. What's the matter, Dems? Not got the stomach for dishing out to her what she's been dishing out to Barack Osama?

Stella by Starlight said...

Petro, Hillary and her husband are two separate people. No one gives a flying fuck about the blue dress. The entire Lewinski scandal was just neocon bullshit.

My only issue with Bill is that he lied. I wish he'd just said, "Yeah, I fucked her and it's no one's business." But who lies worse? There is no end to the prevarication we've encountered from the fucking administration.

They have killed 4,074 American soldiers and maimed 20,000, not to mention 1.2 million Iraqis. Let me ask you a question: if George Fucking Bush is so pro-soldier, why does he keep cutting the veterans' budgets? Why did he lie about WMD and then joke about it?

Is that Humvee yours? I hope you're enjoying filling up your gas tank while Bush, Cheney, Rice, and all the rest of the criminals profit off you. Did you know ExxonMobil has the highest quarter of profits in history? Why do you think? The lowered gas tax is a joke. Why can't the oil companies lower their profits?

Glad to see the gas pump's still up your ass: it belongs there next to your head. I'm a liberal. And I'm a hellraiser AND a humanitarian.

Petroleum-Sleaze, don't think your deliberate misspelling of Obama's name went unnoticed. You are a bloggoslutting hack.

Bravo, Boris. Thanks! Petro trolls everyone's blog and posts nothing useful on his own.
