Song as Metaphor

I keep hearing this song in my head as I watch the stock market plunge.

Have you been to Dcup's? I think her pieces on the meltdown and how it effects her and her family should be published to a larger audience.

What a mess this world seems to be in. I think many of us are already living the recession/depression. We're just not wearing babushkas, riding in oxcarts or living in black and white.

Saw Bush on TV today and the strangest thought about him crossed my mind. He was sitting in some chair and I'll be damned but his suit looked three or four sizes too big for him. My thought was that not only was he a very hallow man of no substance but he was now shrinking.

Beach, where is what published? If you mean where is her post on the very real effect on her family of our current mess? Click on her and follow her home, or use my blog roll.
