Now Is Not The Time For Complacency

I have talked about this great site often. It is linked at the top of my side bar and I call it the best little polling place in the world. I look at it several times a day just to keep my spirits up. Todays piece is instructive for all of us feeling good about the race for the White House so far, but Barack Obama is not feeling so complacent. Do not forget "The Bradley Effect." Yes, maybe Obama has a "big" lead in your area, but if you don't vote, imagine how many of your fellow voters are doing the same thing. No, now is not the time for complacency.

That is a great site. I have it blogrolled and have been hitting it recently myself.

I AM NOT complacent I know what can happen. I saw it here in Cali..from whence the Bradley effect got it's name.

Dusty, The reason I wrote this was hearing from another CA blogger who felt that since CA is in the bag for Obama it won't matter if she doesn't vote this time. So I am lecturing everyone to keep the one or two who think this way from staying home.

The Bradley effect is only one of the many big concerns. the right is going to steal this somehow. That is increasingly obvious why the voting system is the way it is. The complicit MSM keeps calling it close so it can be stolen once again.
To me our only chance4 is to make sure people come out en masse and give Obama a landslide. Bush has until January 20th to do his worst and you know what I expect so I'll shut up! Take care!

That's a terrific site. I've not been there before, but it did help my mood just now.

What you said at my place really resonates: the racism is getting quite ugly and I am indeed fearful of it. And yes, the Bradley effect is a very real issue.
