The More I See You, The More I Want You

Somehow this feeling just grows and grows.

In all honesty, I don't know how I ever got along without you. So forgive me if I indulge myself in a little more Oscar Peterson playing another great jazz standard. It's written by Harry Warren, lyrics by Mack Gordon and written in 1945, a year after I was born. This is the kind of music I grew up listening to. So it did leave its imprint on me. But since it's my preparation for my blogaversary, you'll just have to indulge me or ignore me, but I'm having fun.

Very nice, Utah! You know, I spent most of the day listening to jazz from the 20s and 30s. This is a perfect song for today.

I've missed you the last couple of days. Oh yea, I saw you at your place, but I've missed your gorgeous face here. Life does get busy, especially with a job and a family and a husband. And then the reorganization of your blog life. Time can just get away from you.

Time certain can get away from me. I'm glad to be done moving for now. I have to go catch up on my reading. Looks like you have a blogaversary coming up. What does one give for a first blogaversary?

So nice we're all on the same page today, musically speaking. Good thing Randal's already been by, his ears would be bleeding by now.

Oscar Peterson? Any relation to Oscar Meyer? Or am I just talking bologna? If the later, please pass the mayo.

Check out Elmore James.... great blues slide guitar from the fifties.... my lates oldie rediscovery. It is good stuff.

My piano teacher would rant at me about my fingering technique, and now I think I understand why.

Mmmmmmmmm, he's good.
