Israel has long ago kill any real chance for a two state solution. Israel as a Jewish state is living on borrowed time because at some point the Palestinians are going to demand the right to vote in Israel since the Palestinian areas have been taken over. Throw in the Arab minority that holds Israeli citizenship but are second class citizens but with a higher birthrate the Jews will find themselves one day a minority.

Utah, got the Reading is sexy meme done.

It seems Israel in intent on killing all the Palestinians they can as fast as they can, first. It's sickening.

Nice job on the meme. You are a game and good man. I love your shared encounters with those who work with you. Love the stories of your wife's reading, especially the "feminist" manifesto.

I seriously think if America stopped giving military aid to Israel things would stop being so disproportionately violent.

Israel kills because it can without financial or legal consequences.

Majority of Israelis are genuinely phobic about Arabs and phobia is not just some intellectual fear, it is a visceral disgust (for things like spiders!).

Until Israelis begin to change their mindset that "the holy land is theirs", that "they are the chosen people", that "the world hate jews and so they have to kill to save themselves" this circle will continue ...

One of the reasons for Nazis keen on exterminating Jews was because they were in "competition" for 'human supremacy' and recognized the similarities in the derive and resolve of a people who thought themselves the "best" of god's creations ... and so, they tirned it into a "survival of the fittest contest" ... interestingly, it seems that the Jews were the winners of the WWII because i cannot forsee any future that Israel be prosecuted for its documented crimes against humanity ...

Uggh. I commented on this post last night, I swear. I guess I didn't have it go through. Anyways, I wanted to let everyone and/ or his or her dog know that anyone at all can start a diary at Daily Kos. (I didn't know 'til pretty recently.) You have to start an account (free) to comment over there and then there's a brief waiting period to be able to post a diary entry. They are limited to one a day and are supposed to be "substantive" whatever that means, given that a person's particular view point on a matter is such. I encourage you guys to start one, and then we can link to each other and take over the world.

I have not a lot of knowledge of the situation, really, except for the fact that I am certain we sold Israel the weapons they are bombing civilians with and feel very strongly that our backroom support and public complicity is very much responsible here. And, as my brief write-up (really just wanting to post this awesome video there) states, I really fear we are going to use this conflict as the latest front in the war on terror and warmonger even more.

Pido, Utah- Rrrarr and smooches.

It kind of would be nice, though, if Hamas would stop using school-yards and mosques as locations for their weapons installations. And, so, too, would it be nice if this wonderful organization would take all of that peace-loving destruction to Israel stuff out of their charter. As for this whole disproportionate response argument, you don't think that if Hamas had had MORE firepower, they WOULDN'T have used it? Hell, if Hamas had had the firepower, they would have leveled every man, woman, and child in Israel. And they would have danced in the streets afterwards. Oh, and as for those second class Arab citizens in Israel proper, let's just put it that way. They have a hell of a lot more rights than any other citizens of that region. And, yes, most people in Israel want a two state solution, too. Just ask Bill Clinton. Boy, did he ever get screwed by Arafat. What a piece of work he was, huh?
