These Are a Few Of My Favorite Men

I have probably embarrassed a few of you with my shameless crushes. In some cases I'm probably lucky you didn't take out a restraining order against me. I love funny men and some of your are very funny. I love smart and serious men too, just because you're funny doesn't mean you aren't smart and serious too. Some of you have stopped visiting me. I understand. If I were you, I'd probably stop visiting me too. I know I'm not everybody's cup of tea. But you are mine. So here goes. Your placement on this list does not indicate how much I love/like/admire/fear you. (You all thrill me in one way or another.) It's just the workings of a disordered mind. If you know I love you and you're not on this list--speak up. I can't remember every man I ever had sex with, let alone every man I've ever had a crush on.

The crush is returned in mega-spades. If I had a million dollars and a the use of a private jet there is no one I rather take out to dinner and have a conversation with.
Things here at the house have been confusing and hectic. School projects for the kids, late nights at work for me, wife selling stuff on eBay, and a very frustrating short story that was consuming my free time and becoming something of an obsession kept me from spending as much time as I wanted blogging. So if my absence was noticed I apologize.
Everything else is good now except the story which I have put on the back burner.

Mathman, what makes you so perceptive?

Beach, Thank you, I can't think of a better dinner date for my rich old woman's imagination to work on. I'm in the same boat with fiction. Stories are swirling around in my head, and before it gets too green outside and lures me into the epic Spring Yard Clean-up, I want to get something down--outlines, characters, a sentence here or there, something.

I had a party of the old girls talking about their acid days last night and smoking some California pharmaceutical smoke. It was hilarious and I must put the details down before they fade like a dream.

Thanks Utah! You are the bee's knees!

I'm not sure if this compliment was for me or Folk (check the link), but I'll act like it was for me, blush appropriately, and thank you from the bottom of my heart. After all, who can beat what Beach Bum proposed? I was thinking Schlitz and a pizza.

Utah Savage said...

I've been craving Pizza lately.

Hmm. I will admit I was lost in action there for awhile. Seems some attitude re-adjustment was needed. Life can just become too damn serious. But you know that. Thanks for the thumbs up. It is returned in Spades. Your intelligent in your face writing has caused me some discomfort at times. But a little discomfort is often just what we need to appreciate what we have.

You know MathMan says your name over and over in his sleep.

"Utah, Utah, Utah....."

It's quite soothing. And significantly better than soft snoring in my ear.

Utah Savage said...

Hi Ghost, You? Simple? I won't hear of it.

Lisa, Cyrus does the same thing. And it is soothing.

You have made me aware of how few man-blogs I read. I only read four on a regular basis. Bad, me.

I must read more of these men's blogs. Maybe I/they will develop equal crushes. Aren't you the lucky one???

Amos is missing!! ;-)

Utah Savage said...

Amos doesn't have a blog anymore. If Amos were a real blogger I'd probably have included him. He and I are working on a friendship. We'll see how that works out. I really think I'm much too savage for Amos.

Hes back.

Utah,
You truly are a treasure and a treat to so many!

And to you, dear lady, I raise my glass of Guinness!

Well this brightened my evening. Nothing quite like being admired by a lovely, intelligent, complex woman and put in such "stout hearted" company to make a man grin, blush, and just feel good all over. You ain't an easy one to please - so being on this list is a badge of honor. Thanks!

You need to go check out Phantsythat...

Kulkuri said...

Thanks, I shall raise a glass to that!!
