This is one of the many things I love about Santa Barbara. There are people and sights like this all along State Street. Not only are they allowed to entertain everyone on State Street as street entertainers, they are actually beloved members of the community even if they hail from Colorado.
Thanks YDG

Like the owner says, "if that ain't comfort I don't know what is!" That is amazing - all three grooming each other and just "getting along." Super video.
Yes, this might be my all time favorite pet video. I can imagine animals get along like that, but out in public with strangers crowed round to take pictures and pet? Wow! Them's some mellow animals.
when the cat first started to lick the rat.
awesome video
Hi Steve.
I loved this - especially when the cat started to lick the rat. I'm with Steve on that - I grinned from ear to ear. It's a pretty picture.
Utah, in my opinion, animals/pets can often be more human than humans; and the better parts of being human.
I treat my dog as a closer friend than some of my human friends.
But I am supposed to be crazy, so what would I know?
I think the emotions we show to animals are the same we are likely to show to humans.
Anyone who can be cruel to an animal is someone to be avoided in my opinion.
I have declared today “National Say “Hello” Day!
Hello!!!!!!
He-weasel and me are off to Santa Barbara this week. I'll keep my eyes open for the rat,cat and the dog and we will eat at Super Rico on your behalf.
Will You order a portion for me and eat it with my mouth?
Utah: Um, I don't have those kind of magical skills. But, when I eat one of the 3 or 4 soft tacos I will toast to you and eat it in your honour. Any preference on what you'd like?
