This is a song for the healthcare system we have. If you're loaded and can afford the insurance, your doctor and hospital will take great care of you. If you're busted and broke, good luck on finding a quiet place to die.

I know this is off topic, but I love your new profile picture. ;0)
Thank you darling. I kind of hated to give up the one Darkblack photoshopped for me--my Obamacon. I've saved it as a keepsake for the next election. And I'm using a B&W of this one on my twitter page. I changed it once and got feedback that this is the best one to use. I seem accessible and friendly. Like a trickster I lure them in with my deceptively sweet face and then... I pounce.
You do look sweet in this picture! LOL
I remember my Daddy singing this song. :) That man loved country music.

If they just cut the military budget by half it would be amazing what could be afforded. Meanwhile, I'm not going to hold my breath.
Susan, cut the military budget? Surely you jest. We have crazed hordes of (insert the bogeyman du jour here) just waiting to invade and take away our satellite television, Wal-Marts stuffed with cheap Chinese made goods contaminated with lead, and make our heroic and smart bankers and investment types give up their lavish lifestyles.
you betcha'

Even the rich die, they just make doctors richer dragging it out is all.
As for the busted and broke, don't get me started about that, there are more damn bottom feeders here that we keep alive and support than you can shake a stick at.
The hospital here is a county hospital and they can't turn anyone away. At least if they end up in the emergency room, then they do a damn good job of saving them.
Those on welfare here get damn good care, but you wouldn't know it to listen to them.
And they never contribute anything to society.
I liked the other picture better.
And I thought I was cynical. The conversation yesterday was about "how stupid are we?" and when I deftly turn and pivot to greed as a topic in the healthcare debate with a little help from Hank Williams, it's still about "how stupid are we?"
That and how sweet I look in my new/old picture.
