Sad, I've been to most of those towns. Loved it. Thanks for sharing.
I spent a few days in Park City for the Winter Snowboarding Championships in 2001...or was it 2000, whatever, It was great, Utah is nice in winter!
Ah, melodic Beach Boys with a Utah backdrop. SWEET!
Seems like Utahns go out of their way to mangle names, doesn't it?Tooo-ellah and Sah-lye-nah ... those always crack me up (yes I am easily amused)! But I have to correct one ... the local (mis)pronunciation of Hurricane is Hurr-cunn ... after awhile you get so used to it, it seems odd to hear meteorologists on TV.
Tooele + Tooo-ellah? When stationed at White Sands Missile Range in the 60's, we called it "Tooley" ?????
what's so strange about those?!? If you live there you don't notice how ridiculous sounding the names of places are in Utah but when you move away...wow what a blow-back!Hi Peggy! Tiffany(Knight)Jan
