Honey I'm home. The anesthesiologist was so stingy with the versed, so no buzzy nap for me. But I love the new glasses. I'll schedule the second eye in a week or two. So, how do I look? Remember, I'd had a shower cap on at the hospital and I haven't combed my hair since they took it off. But check out these glasses. I think they're a keeper.

Congratulations on the surgery. Glad it went well.
Thanks Jerry. I won't be seeing well until they do the other eye, but it's a start. I love that they do the worst eye first. Tomorrow I can take off the eyepatch, but the eye won't be healed for a few days. It was an interesting experience. I think I'll write a short story about it. Apparently I'm a blast in the operating room.
Looking good, glad it went well and remember when your ready the book is yours.
You're right, the glasses are posh. Very Jackie O.
And yes, please, do write an account of your stand-up routine in the operating theatre.
Sounds like you've been through hell & back.
Hope the eye heals & the gut calms down & the computer is either revived or replaced-- and the heater too.
My recommendation?
Don't ask "What next?"-- you probably don't want to know!
I am just back from a whirlwind trip visiting my Mom in Illinois, a Memorial for the father-in-law in Ohio & my son's wedding 2 days later.
Talk about an emotional roller coaster! No wonder I found myself jet lagged & curled up under a blanket sleeping for hours & hours after we returned to Oregon.
Glad to hear that you had this done.
You'll be back to 1000% soon.
Rest up a little!

I think you look gorgeous and love that you share your brains and wit with us all.
